BannerFlex® Banner Mounting Hardware

• Exterior banner hardware mounting system
• KBW originated - US patent #4880195
• Keeps banners stretched tightly (if desired) between both top and bottom fiberglass arms. At same time, allows banners to “flex” with gusts of wind, spilling a significant amount of wind force. This reduces stress on banners, poles and luminares.
• Engineered for durability

Bracket

• Easily installed on nearly any shape, size or surface of utility or light pole
• Available in Sandcast aluminum or powder coated black (additional cost for black and custom colors)

Main casting

• Designed so the arm slides into the casting from the top and seats itself until set screws are tightened. The arms will not fall out during installation with or without set screws.

All metal parts of each bracket system are
aluminum alloy

• Eliminates rusting, discoloration, or peeling paint

Four Dacroment set screws

• Provide 4 points of contact to prevent slipping or loosening of the arm (not easily over tightened)
• Provides up to 3" of banner length adjustment

Stainless steel hitch pins

• Installed above each arm, hitchpins offer an added safety feature. The sole purpose is to prevent the arm from coming out if the set screws are not properly tightened

Square pole adapter (Adapter shim)

• Used when banding BannerFlex brackets onto poles that have square “cross sections” where the faces of the pole are 5” or larger in width
• Allows the Band-it Banding to apply the proper pressure onto the main bracket casting

Plant Holder and Flag Pole Holder

• Main castings accommodate other attachments such as flag holders (for poles7/8” in diameter by 6’ in length) and flowerpot holders (canted slightly upward)

Patented “Canted” Arm

• Helps dissipate the wind force, which eliminates the need for banner wind slits, breakaway clips and constant maintenance.
• Top arm is canted up, bottom arm is canted down. When banner is installed, arms put banner in tension to transfer wind force to fiberglass.
• Keeps banner from “flopping”

Made of 13/16” UV treated fiberglass

• Flexes under wind loading, allowing air to spill off the outside edges of each banner that reduces stress on banners and utility poles
• Tested to withstand up to 120 mph wind force without permanent distortion with 30” x 94” banners installed
• Flexibility of the arm allows return of each banner to tightly stretched position when wind subsides

Holds banners ranging in size from 24” x 48” up to 30” x 94” and 30” x 96”

• Offers versatility
• Standard arm length is 31” exposed. Can be customized up to 38” (for 36" x 94" max banner size) for additional cost.

Wind tunnel testing

• Verifies product capabilities in measured wind conditions
• Full report available on request

Band-It® Banding
(double wrapped)

• Non-rusting stainless steel
• Secures the main casting to the pole
• Used by cities throughout the nation for exterior attachment of traffic lights, signs, etc.

Band-It® Buckle and
Band-It® tool

• Makes installation of brackets easy fast and absolutely secure
• Attaches the banding to the pole

Nylon cable tie

• Secures the banner to the bracket main casting
